**Job Overview:**

JLS Property Management is a diverse real estate management company. We are always expanding and adding on new projects. The ideal candidate would be mainly responsible for the financials, owner payments, payroll, budgeting, year end, IT, and working with our property managers on projects as needed. We are seeking a candidate who is skilled in accounting, analysis, payroll, budgeting, accounts payable, and regulatory reporting. Candidate will be primary on all IT concerns.

**Duties:**

- Manage all Owner Payments

- Payroll

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance and insurance

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- 5 years of experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Experience with Rent Manager, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software

- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Canidate is primary for IT needs to help team troubleshoot IT issues

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Debits credits expertise

- Financial acumen

- Account analysis proficiency

- Financial report writing skills

- Budgeting experience
